Two days before Thanksgiving, my sister received the diagnosis of cancer: B Cell Lymphoma with components of Hodgkin's and non-Hodgkin's. We are all still reeling from the death of Mom, but now this. Maggie's Lymphoma is incredibly aggressive and "rare". And we are feeling deja vu all over again.
Her symptoms started with a small bump in her neck, right below her ear, and quickly progressed during the past six weeks to full pain and swelling all over her body. We were able to spend Thanksgiving together and she would sometimes succumb to her pain, lying on the couch with tears rolling down her face.
Right now, please do whatever you do: pray, meditate, send lovingkindness, light, and love. We are beyond devastated.
