I am up at 3 AM choking down my colonoscopy prep.
Who said getting old wasn't glamorous?
The past six weeks have been pretty much hell, so when it came time to schedule my very first colonoscopy, I jumped at the chance.
Why not? Bring it on! I yelled to the heavens.
But really, all kidding aside, it's such a good idea to get screened early. Just like the mammogram that saved my life six and a half years ago, this colonoscopy is necessary.
But the prep work? It's no joke.
Bottoms up, my friends!
